BeagleX Lumi is LED light – based treatments (Photobiomodulation) use specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, improve skin quality, and support hair growth without burning or damaging tissue.
Different LED wavelengths penetrate the skin at different depths. These light signals are absorbed by mitochondria, increasing ATP (cell energy), which activates :

LED therapy is becoming a high-value category because it offers:
Ideal for clinics, home-use devices, and aesthetic machine brands.
Q1 - How soon will I see results?
Most people notice a difference after 4–6 weeks of regular use (3–5 sessions per week). Skin concerns like acne can show improvement faster (2–3 weeks), while pigmentation and glow improvements typically take 6–8 weeks. Remember: LED therapy is a slow, deep process — not an instant fix. The results are gradual and lasting.
Q2 - Can I use Lumi every day?
Yes, for most wavelengths. Blue light can be used up to 5 times a week. Red light up to 5 times a week. Amber and green are best at 3–4 times a week. Taking at least 2 rest days per week is a good habit. Your skin needs time to process the effects of each session.
Q3 - Can I use BeagleX Lumi on my scalp for hair?
Yes! Red light is excellent for scalp use. Part your hair, position the panel 1–2 cm from your scalp, and run a 12–15 minute red light session. Do this 3–4 times a week for consistent results. You do not need to wash your hair before a scalp session, but removing heavy oils or products is helpful.
Q4 - Can I use two different lights in the same day?
Yes, but not in the same session. If you want to use two wavelengths on the same day, leave at least 2 hours between sessions. For example: Blue light in the morning for acne, Red light in the evening for repair. Do not run two back-to-back sessions in a row.
Q5 - Is it safe to use BeagleX Lumi with my regular skincare products?
Absolutely. Lumi is most effective on bare, clean skin. Apply your serums, moisturisers, and SPF after the session, not before. LED light actually helps your skin absorb active ingredients better right after treatment — so this is the ideal window for your skincare.
Q6 - Will it work if I sit further than 2 cm away?
It will still emit light, but the effective dose reaching your skin drops significantly beyond 2 cm. The device is calibrated to deliver ~20 mW/cm2 at 0–2 cm. At 5 cm, you may be getting a fraction of the intended dose. Staying close is important for real results.
Q7 - Can children use Lumi?
Lumi is designed for adults (18+). Keep the device out of reach of children. The bright light can
be unsafe for young eyes.
Q8 - I have dark skin — will it still work?
Yes. LED light therapy works across all skin tones. Melanin content does not significantly interfere with how LED wavelengths interact with skin tissue. All four wavelengths are suitable for darker skin. Start with amber or red if your skin is very reactive, and build from there.
Q9 - Can I use BeagleX Lumi during pregnancy?
We recommend against it out of caution. There is no direct evidence of harm from LED therapy during pregnancy, but there are also no long-term safety studies. Please consult your doctor or gynaecologist before use.
Q10 - How is BeagleX Lumi different from cheap LED masks I see online?
BeagleX Lumi uses 180 multi-die 3030 LEDs in a precision 15×12 grid with a calibrated irradiance of ~20 mW/cm2. Many budget devices use fewer LEDs, unknown wavelengths, and no diffuser, meaning uneven or ineffective light delivery. Lumi is also designed as a stationary panel — which means it stays stable, does not cause pressure on your face, and allows you to relax fully during sessions.
